Haversham was shockingly murdered during his own engagement party! Now, it’s up to us—and
you—to unravel the mystery: who killed Charles, why they did it, and what deadly weapon was
used. Among those present that fateful night Thomas Colleymoore (The old school friend),
Perkins (The butler), Cecil Haversham (The Brother), Arthur (The Gardener), Florence
Colleymoor (The Fiance), and Inspector Carter who is local and esteemed. Everyone has
secrets, just whose will come into the light? Or... Snow? Prepare for suspense, plot twists, and
as we journey on to solve The Murder of Haversham Manor—just don’t be surprised if things
aren’t exactly as they seem!
Also, if anyone happens to spot a Duran Duran CD box set wandering about—or Winston, our
regular dog who’s supposed to be playing the guard dog but might be off on his own
adventures—please let us know immediately!
Or, as we like to call it, The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition. Step into the frenzied
world of a high school drama club desperately trying to put on a simple murder mystery. As the
cast—and the backstage crew—scramble to solve the crime and keep the show moving, they
face an escalating avalanche of hilarious disasters: misplaced clues, confused characters, and
a director who’s on the verge of losing their mind. With mistaken identities and slapstick chaos
piling up, this wild farce will have you laughing from curtain rise to final bow.
Audience members will love diving into this heartwarming celebration of live theater—where
mishaps are not only expected but encouraged, and stage managers get their moment in the
spotlight! While The Play That Goes Wrong continues to delight audiences Off-Broadway, we’re
absolutely thrilled to bring the high school edition to Cedar Cliff’s Auditorium. Whether you’re a
seasoned theater fan or a first-time audience member, you’ll be captivated by the clever
physical comedy, the cast’s unstoppable spirit, and the joyful chaos that proves sometimes the
biggest disasters create the most unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to see you at the
show—because in theater, as always, the show must go on!
